On completing her studies at AUB in 2004, Dania took part in a programme in Philadelphia organised by the US State Department for leaders in the Middle East, and was selected along with 36 other women from the MENA (Middle East & North Africa) region.
The participants took part in the programme for six months and had a one-month period of executive education at Wharton, followed by the opportunity to intern at a US firm.
Dania was then recruited by the National Bank of Kuwait to work as a Treasury Trainee and then moved to Qatar to work for the International Bank of Qatar (IBQ).
In 2013, Dania resigned from IBQ in order to take up studying for a PhD in Canada.
