MBI Al Jaber Alumna, Dr Noura Mansouri, has recently been involved in the 8th Saudi Arabia Smart Grid Conference (SASG), as the Chair for one of the sessions. The conference took place from 11th to 13th December, 2018 in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Noura’s sessions covered the integration of renewable energy, which is her field of expertise.
With more than 2,500 participants and 70 exhibitors, the SASG 2018 offered a unique platform to share visions and missions in the field of emerging technologies in sustainable energy, demand side management, grid integration of renewable energy sources, automation technologies, power system planning, operation and maintenance, as well as IT and communications solutions.
Noura was awarded an MBI Al Jaber Scholarship in 2003 to study for an MBA in Technology Exploitation and Management. She graduated in 2004. She is an energy and sustainability professional from Saudi Arabia who has been working on the subject of energy and sustainability for over a decade. She joined KAPSARC in August 2016 as a Senior Research Associate.
