Tamim started off his career with HSBC Bank. After completing his MA in Portsmouth, he has held various regional positions in the Middle East with Orbit TV Network, American President Lines (APL), Tait Radio Communications, before shifting to public institution roles with King Abdullah International Center for Interreligious & Intercultural Dialogue (KAICIID) founded in Vienna by the governments of Saudi Arabia, Spain, and Austria. His last role was in Cairo at the British Embassy's Scientific Research and Innovation; Newton Fund.
