Amer graduated from INSEAD in 2003 with an MBA.  On completion of his degree, Amer was employed by McKinsey and Company and, after holding several roles there, is now a Partner working in the area of Islamic Banking. ...


On his return to Yemen after graduating from the London School of Economics (LSE) in 2009 with an MSc Degree in Comparative Politics, Farouk was successful in gaining employment with the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) in Sana’a and worked as IFAD Country Program Assistant for Yemen. He is now Yemen Crisis Response Project Coordinator 


On completing her studies at AUB in 2004, Dania took part in a programme in Philadelphia organised by the US State Department for leaders in the Middle East, and was selected along with 36 other women from the MENA (Middle East & North Africa) region.


Ahmed graduated in 2004 with an MSc in Accounting and Finance from the London School of Economics, (LSE) and is currently Head of Investment Banking and a Managing Director at EFG Hermes Investment Banking in Egypt.


Saifedean Ammous is Assistant Professor of Economics at the Lebanese American University, and Foreign Member of the Center on Capitalism and Society at Columbia University.


After qualifying with an MBA from the London School of Business & Finance in 2010, Abdul was employed by the Shihab Insurance and Trading Agencies Ltd, Deloitte, UNITE Group plc (UK). He then moved to the Yemen MicroFinance Network where he worked as a Financial Controller. He is now a Finance Manager for ‘Yemen Education For Employment’. Abdul's long-term objective is to become a highly-skilled financial analyst and start his own financial consulting firm.
