Malek El-Qallali is currently undertaking a PhD in Engineering Management at the University of York, previously he attended Bath University where he attained an MSc in Innovation & Technology, an MSc in Digital Communications and a BEng in Electronic Communications Engineering.  


Nada graduated from SOAS in 2002 with an MSc in Applied Microbiology.  She now works in the Department of Medicine & Health Sciences at the Al Neelain University in Khartoum, Sudan.

Tariq returned to Iraq after graduating from UCL in 2008 with a Distinction in his MSc in Radiation Biology. On his return to Iraq, he was awarded a scholarship from the Department of Radiation Oncology and Biology, Carl Gustav Carus Faculty of Medicine, at the Technical University of Dresden.


Ahmed is now Dean of the Faculty of Science at Dohuk University in the Kurdistan region of Iraq. Before becoming Dean, he held the position of Deputy Dean of the department of Medical Microbiology at the College of Medicine at Dohuk University.


Mohab graduated from AUC in 2004 with a postgraduate degree in Engineering. While studying for this degree, he applied for PhD studies at colleges in both the United States and Canada. He was accepted at McGill University, took up his place, and was awarded a PhD in Mechanical Engineering in 2008.


After graduating from AUB in 2004, Talar worked on a doctoral research programme in Health Policy and Administration at the School of Public Health, University of Illinois, Chicago.
