Tariq returned to Iraq after graduating from UCL in 2008 with a Distinction in his MSc in Radiation Biology. On his return to Iraq, he was awarded a scholarship from the Department of Radiation Oncology and Biology, Carl Gustav Carus Faculty of Medicine, at the Technical University of Dresden.


Stephanie graduated from MODUL with a BBA in Tourism & Hospitality Management in 2010. For her dissertation, she chose the subject of Media in Tourism, focussing specifically on the ‘Case of South-East Asian Islands’.


Raya graduated in 2007 from the University of Westminster with an MSc in Development Administration. She also holds a qualification in Child and Youth Care Development from the University of Victoria in Vancouver.


Abdulmonem has had a varied career since graduating from INSEAD with an MBA in 2005. He is now acting General Manager at Galadari Brothers in the UAE but has also founded a Management Consultancy Company named Madina Ventures which operates in Saudi Arabia.


Ahmed is now Dean of the Faculty of Science at Dohuk University in the Kurdistan region of Iraq. Before becoming Dean, he held the position of Deputy Dean of the department of Medical Microbiology at the College of Medicine at Dohuk University.


Abdalla is Business Development Manager, EMEA Professional Security Services, with McAfee (An Intel Company) and is recognized globally as a thought leader in the IT security field.


Since March 2011, Sharia has been working as a Mediator and Conflict Management Specialist at the Walker Consultancy. The consultancy offers mediation services between disputing parties and also conducts conflict management and resolution training.


Nadine is working as a Media and Telecommunications Consultant for a Consultancy firm in London. She focuses on projects in the Middle East and is currently working on a project to build high-quality, low cost mass housing in the Middle East and North Africa region, starting with Jordan.


On completing her studies at AUB in 2004, Dania took part in a programme in Philadelphia organised by the US State Department for leaders in the Middle East, and was selected along with 36 other women from the MENA (Middle East & North Africa) region.


Ibrahim has been General Manager of Döhler Egypt (Part of Döhler Group Gmbh) since January 2013 and is based in Cairo.
